Inaugural Washington International Arts Festival Concludes Successfully in Bethesda, Celebrating Youth Talent, Cultural Exchange, and AAPI Heritage Month

The inaugural Washington International Arts Festival (WIAF) successfully concluded its pilot program, the Arts & Culture Showcase, on May 30 at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School. Held during Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, the event brought together hundreds of young artists, educators, families, cultural leaders, and community organizations from across the Washington Metropolitan Region for a full day of artistic excellence and youth empowerment. Featuring competitions in dance, music, theater, and speech, the event provided a platform for young artists from diverse backgrounds to share their talents while fostering intercultural understanding through the arts.
